How to arrive to Florence by coach!
Florence is easily reachable by coach, thanks to an extensive network of regional and interregional coaches reaching the main destinations of Tuscany.
The majority of coaches stop in the immediate vicinity of Santa Maria Novella train station.
From Florence you can reach almost every town and village in Tuscany with the regional network of public transports. However it is recommendable to ask in advance information on the service and timetables. Those who wish to reach Florence from a nearby location, or visit the surroundings without using a car, may use the public coaches which depart from the city centre for the main regional areas.
The two official regional bus companies are SITA and LAZZI, both of which have their head offices near the train station.
SITA: Viale dei Cadorna, 105 - Tel. 05547821 - Fax 0554782272 e-mail: clienti.toscana@sitabus.it
LAZZI :Via Mercadante, 2 - call centre Tel.: 055 363041
CAP is a company operating in the town of Prato, with an office in Florence in L.go F.lli Alinari, 9 tel. 055 214637 e-mail: posta@capautolinee.it
