Sani Tourist House - Florence The Sani Tourist House in Florence is a charming and welcoming Bed and Breakfast on the third floor (elevator available) of an historic Palazzo in the hearth of the picturesque Dante’s district. It is an ideal location for discovering the ancient city of Florence, wandering in its medieval streets.... The atmosphere is romantic with antique-style walnut furnishings, iron-frame beds and, old doors and windows. On payment of a small additional charge one can request a voucher for breakfast in a bakery/patisserie/wine bar on the corner of the street, served between 8am and 12noon. Elisabetta and Remo are the owners of this property; they are kind and friendly and always ready to offer valuable advice and suggestions for your excursions and sightseeing, both within the city and in the surrounding areas, as well as practical information regarding the rental of cars and bycicles, train and bus timetable and prices, shops, restaurants, cafés, parkings, etc.... Remo is also an official city guide and three times a week organizes a tour of roughly one hour and a half to visit the Duomo, Piazza Della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Castello Da Verrazzano...to discover the treasures of Florence, in the realm of poets, painters, writers, scientists, bankers, merchants and antiquarians.... Each guest will receive a key on arrival and will be completely independent throughout his stay, with no limits on hours or late-night access.Payment Check in timetable is from 12,15 to 0730; NO luggage is accepted in the morning; clients are kindly requested to make a phone call in advance at n. 347 8642573 in case of a late arrival. It is requested that the total bill is paid in advance on the evening prior to departure between 6 and 8pm. If possible, the proprietors prefer payment in cash but Visa, Mastercard and American Express are also accepted with an additional commission of 3,5%. Where we are

THE EASIEST WAY TO REACH US: Please make a quick check of your city map as you approach the city: If you arrive from Bologna or from Pisa, just follow the signs on the A1 highway towards the city center and drive as far as Piazzale di Porta al Prato. From here follow the signs to the Railway Station where you can leave the car in the underground parking. Then hire a taxi or take bus number 14 or 23 towards the Duomo and get off at Via Del Proconsolo, which is a few steps away from us. If you arrive from the north side hills of Fiesole, or from Roma and Arezzo on the A1 highway, remember to reach Piazza Beccaria, then drive all the way down Via Dell'Agnolo with continuation in Via Pandolfini. Once at the corner with Via Dei Giraldi, turn left twice and you will be in Via Ghibellina where, at number 170 red, you can leave the car at Garage Bargello - Tel. 0039.055 287058. If you are coming from Siena, you will end up at Piazzale di Porta Romana, just in front of the ancient city gate. From here take a left and keep on this street following the ancient city wall as far as Ponte alla Vittoria, which is the bridge over the river Arno. Cross the bridge and keep going straight, pass Piaz- zale di Porta al Prato and follow the signs to the Railway Station. From the Railway Station to us, follow as mentioned above. If you arrive from the A. Vespucci Florence Airport, 5 km from the city center, you should either take a taxi which will cost approximately € 15,00 directly to us or you could take the shuttle bus to the Railway Station then continue with the city buses 14 or 23 or taxi.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation has to be made via e-mail or fax at n. +39 055 289648 within 15 days of the reservation, not including the day of cancellation; falling this or in the case of cancellations made later or earlier departures, the entire sum will be debited less the prepaid deposit.
